WILD ROOTS: Details

Format: 5 sessions — one live teaching session, followed by 4 small-group case review sessions

Access to Nat via Slack for the duration of the course, plus 3 months afterwards to give you time to integrate these skills into your practice.

What You'll Learn

  • Live walkthrough of a full reflex assessment protocol, with video demonstration

  • The purpose and function of each primitive reflex — what it's for, developmentally

  • What normal presentation and integration should look like in infancy

  • How retained reflexes show up in elementary-age kids (handwriting, attention, posture, motor planning, behavior)

  • Creative, play-based strategies for testing reflex retention in toddlers, where direct testing isn't always possible

  • Real case review — 8 cases total across the mentorship, pulled from your own caseloads

  • How to keep hard-to-motivate kids engaged during reflex work, using real examples from the group's cases

  • Direct clinical reasoning and feedback from a specialist, applied to your actual clients — not hypotheticals

* All meetings will be recorded and uploaded the day of the meeting, so if you have to miss one, no big deal.

Optional add-on: Virtual shadowing of one of your own sessions with direct feedback and/or case study review on paper with Nat (Nat will discuss these during the course and you can sign up then.)
